NOVOCIB's HGPRT Assay Kit is designed to measure the activity of HGPRT (hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyl transferase) in vitro. This very easy one-step Assay is based on a coupled reaction involving a highly active IMPDH (Inosine Monophosphate Dehydrogenase, bacterial recombinant) which directly measures by spectrophotometry, through the IMP formed by HGPRT, the activity of HGPRT present in a sample. HGPRT Assay Kit was validated with Red Blood Cell lysate.

NOVOCIB's PRPP Assay Kit is designed to measure PRPP (α-D-5-phosphoribosyl-1-pyrophosphate) content in samples. This enzymatic assay is based on a coupled reaction involving Hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyltransferase (HGPRT) and Inosine Monophosphate Dehydrogenase (IMPDH).
PRPP is highly unstable, which renders the preparation of accurately weighted standards difficult. This PRPP Assay Kit has the advantage of measuring PRPP concentration in the sample by absorbance through a stoichiometric NADH formation, thus allowing a direct and absolute measurement of PRPP content with no need of any calibration curve.

Bacterial Bioluminescence Enzymes (^Top)
Bacterial bioluminescence consists in a ligh-emitting reaction where a long-chain aliphatic aldehyde is oxidized in the presence of molecular oxygen and reduced flavin mononucleotide (FMNH2). This reaction is catalyzed by bacterial luciferase.
NOVOCIB offers a highly pure bacterial luciferase from Photobacterium phosphoreum and a recombinant FMN-Reductase which, when coupled to bacterial luciferase in vitro, is able to significantly increase the sensitivity and allow a better control of signal intensity and duration.

NADPH, NADH Bioluminescence Assay Kit (^Top)
NOVOCIB’s NADPH, NADH Bioluminescent Kit provides an ultrasensitive, one-step assay to detect as low as 2.10-13 mole of NAD(P)H in a 100µL assay volume (2nM). This kit is based on two major enzymes involved in bacterial luminescence mechanism: bacterial luciferase and a recombinant FMN reductase.
